kontagu would especially
bring to the notice of the Army Counṣil that the Gevernsent
of India particularly ask for early and definite information
as to the mumber of units to be provided at A quani
permanent arrangement; alss that the proposals are contingent
upes all changes coaneated with the maintenance of the extra
unite to be kept up for overseas, as well as any extra
cost involved in the delay in dmobilisation in order to give
effect to the pressut proposals, being accepted as charges
against His Majesty's Jovernment,
MF, kontagu would be glad to learn, as ourly as possible
in view of the reorganisation of the Indian Army which is
new proceeding, whether the Army Council agree to the
mroposals of the Government of India, including the con-
